Debbie Davidman, MBA, is a Principal at Marks Paneth & Shron LLP. Ms. Davidman holds multiple roles within the firm, all of which focus on the integration of technology and finance.

She leads the firm’s Analytical Portfolio Services Group, which provides fund investment reporting services for fund managers as well as high-net-worth individuals and family investment partnerships. In this role, Ms. Davidman has helped enhance how clients both access and analyze financial information.

Ms. Davidman assisted an investment fund following the discovery of a significant overstatement of its net assets. Ms. Davidman also directs MP&S Fund Administration LLC, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Marks Paneth & Shron that supports fund managers and facilitates compliance with the appropriate regulatory, financial and tax reporting requirements. MP&S Fund Administration also assists with anti-money laundering (AML) compliance.

Ms. Davidman’s extensive experience also includes working with law firms to develop customized spreadsheets and databases to assist with the determination and distribution of class action settlements among thousands of plaintiffs and a multitude of insurance companies.

Additionally, as the Chief Technology Officer of Marks Paneth & Shron, Ms. Davidman oversees the firm’s technology infrastructure and provides strategic guidance and oversight for all of the firm’s technology initiatives. She works closely with the firm’s leaders and plays a key role in strategic planning.

Ms. Davidman is a member of the Boomers Technology Circle, which is a group of independent CPA firms that come together to discuss technology-related matters, and has served on its Executive Board. She also served as a member of the Technology Group of JHI, an international association of independent accounting firms.

A recognized thought leader in her field, Ms. Davidman has been featured in Accounting Technology in an article regarding how to consolidate firms from a technology perspective during mergers and acquisitions.

Debbie Davidman received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Finance, both from New York University. She is based in Marks Paneth & Shron’s New York City headquarters and resides on Long Island.
