Bradley Eckstein, CPA, brings extensive auditing, accounting, tax and consulting experience to his role as Partner at Marks Paneth & Shron. Mr. Eckstein has three primary areas of concentration: the home heating oil industry, in which he serves some of the largest privately held home heating oil companies in the New York metropolitan area; real estate, where he serves a diverse portfolio of clients, including builders of gated communities, condo conversions and commercial and residential rentals; and audits of pension plans, encompassing defined contribution, defined benefit and ESOP plans. In addition to his client responsibilities, he is a member of the firm’s in-house Partner Leadership committee.
Mr. Eckstein has spent more than 22 years with Marks Paneth & Shron. Over the years, he has provided his clients with a broad range of services including tax projections, business planning, assistance with bank and alternative financing and due diligence work. He has also been involved with numerous consulting engagements in connection with potential mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Eckstein is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs, where he is a past chairperson of its Nassau Chapter Real Estate Committee. Additionally, he is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
An active community volunteer, Mr. Eckstein is a Trustee of the Robbie Levine Foundation, an organization dedicated to increasing awareness of the need for and importance of Automated External Defibrillators in saving lives, particularly in youth athletics. Mr. Eckstein is also a coach in the Merrick-North Merrick Little League.
Bradley Eckstein holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the State University of New York at Albany. He is licensed to practice in New York State and works out of Marks Paneth & Shron’s Woodbury, Long Island office. He resides in Merrick, New York.
