Michael P. Saul, CPA, brings more than 20 years of accounting, auditing and tax planning experience to his position as the Partner-in-Charge of the Long Island office of Marks Paneth & Shron LLP. Based in the Woodbury office, Mr. Saul oversees client service, business development, and talent management for the Long Island region. In addition, he handles his own book of business with concentrations in real estate, construction and high net worth individuals. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the firm.
Joining Marks Paneth & Shron in 1983, Mr. Saul achieved partner status in 1998. Over the years, he has earned a reputation for teaming closely with his clients to help them grow their businesses and succeed in a multigenerational environment. As the Partner-in-Charge of the firm’s Woodbury office, he has created an environment where professionals are afforded the opportunity to grow both as accountants and business advisers. This atmosphere has contributed to the office’s ability to attract top talent and retain them with little turnover.
Mr. Saul is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA), where he is the CPE liaison for its Nassau Chapter. Additionally, he has been active on several real estate and banking committees for the NYSSCPA over the years. Throughout his career, he has penned articles for a number of professional publications and was recently spotlighted in Newsday and Long Island Business News. His community service includes fundraising for many charitable associations, foremost among them, the Special Olympics and the Girl Scouts of America.
