James M. Robbins, JD, LLM, is a Principal at Marks Paneth & Shron LLP. He is an international tax specialist with approximately 25 years of public accounting experience.

As a result of serving as a partner in both global and regional professional services firms, he has developed a strong expertise in corporate International tax as well as financial products and derivatives. By virtue of his background, he has come to have a deep appreciation for multi-jurisdictional issues including foreign taxes, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and commercial and regulatory matters.

Mr. Robbins is a member of the New York City Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He has authored articles for a variety of publications.

Mr. Robbins holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University. He also holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Bridgeport School of Law and a Master of Laws from Boston University School of Law.

Mr. Robbins is based at Marks Paneth & Shron’s midtown Manhattan headquarters.
