Steven L. Brass, CPA, is a Senior Consultant at Marks Paneth & Shron LLP. His expertise encompasses individual income tax and financial planning, partnership taxation, and gift and estate planning. With more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Brass has deep knowledge of the real estate and construction industries which are his primary fields of specialty.

Mr. Brass began his career with Marks Shron & Company, a predecessor firm of today’s firm. During his tenure as a Partner, he took a leave of absence and spent a brief period in private industry, serving as the acting Chief Financial Officer of a large real estate company.

Mr. Brass is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University and a Master of Science in Taxation from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. He is licensed to practice public accounting in New York and he is based in Marks Paneth & Shron’s Manhattan headquarters. He resides in Old Bethpage, New York.
