Deana L. Wetzel, CPA, is a Director at Marks Paneth & Shron LLP. Ms. Wetzel specializes in audit and consulting engagements for both commercial and residential real estate clients as well as co-ops and condominiums and is involved with several high profile real estate clients. She assists clients with many different types of real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions and debt restructurings. She advises clients on all facets of accounting and tax issues.

Ms. Wetzel has nearly 20 years of experience in public accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs. She is also a member of the Real Estate Committee, Nassau Chapter.

Ms. Wetzel holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business. She is licensed to practice public accounting in New York. She divides her time between the firm’s Manhattan and Long Island offices.
