Michael Hurwitz, Partner and REIT Leader in the firm’s Real Estate Group, will contribute his CRE lending expertise to a panel discussion at this year’s Asian Financial Society (AFS) China-US Real Estate Investment Forum.  As moderator, Mr. Hurwitz will lead the dialogue on “New Trends in CRE Capital Market: REITs and Banks.”

The session will cover how the rise of new CRE development in the U.S. is resulting in stricter lending requirements from traditional lenders and a surge of demand for REITs as an alternative financing tool. The panelists will also discuss the growing popularity of REIT-style investment products in China and the opportunities these investment vehicles present to institutional and retail investors.
