Remembering Tony Tempesta

 

August 24, 2018 - It is with deep sadness and regret that we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Tempesta, Partner-in-Charge of Marks Paneth’s Westchester office and the Attest Leader of the firm’s Commercial Business Group.

Over the course of more than 30 years in public and private accounting, Tony earned a reputation for the highest level of integrity, client focus and technical expertise. He helped hundreds of business owners, nonprofits and families reach their goals and, as a dedicated mentor, helped countless staff members do the same.

As a respected member of the Westchester community, Tony lent his time and expertise to local charities and was an active supporter of the Westchester Business Council and its important initiatives.

Tony was a beloved colleague, advisor and friend, and those who worked with him will always remember his generous spirit and unwavering dedication to his clients, partners and staff. Above all else, he will be remembered as a family man who was deeply devoted to his wife, Debbie, and their two daughters, Christina and Tara.
