Marks Paneth Acquires Accounting Firm With Valuation, International Tax and High Net Worth Expertise
April 1, 2015Marks Paneth, the New York City-headquartered accounting firm and the 35th largest in the US, has acquired Fischer Barr & Wissinger, LLC, a Parsippany, New Jersey-based full service accounting firm, effective February 1, 2015. With this acquisition, Marks Paneth expands its growing list of offices to include New Jersey.
Fischer Barr & Wissinger has been sought by clients for its international tax, high-net worth and valuations expertise, among other capabilities including tax planning, litigation support and audit. The valuations team will add depth to the valuations resources in Marks Paneth’s Litigation and Corporate Financial Advisory Services Group, particularly with regards to pass-through entities and the healthcare industry.
