Marks Paneth Re-Elects Harry Moehringer as Managing Partner

(NEW YORK, NY-- Jan. 27, 2016) - Accounting, tax and advisory firm, Marks Paneth LLP announced today that its partnership has re-elected Harry Moehringer as the firm’s Managing Partner, which became effective January 2016.
In this role, he will continue to execute the firm’s growth strategy – focusing on strategic acquisitions, organic growth and deepening the depth and breadth of talent to build on the firm’s legacy of delivering the highest quality services in the areas in which it practices. Mr. Moehringer most recently served as Co-Managing Partner with Mark Levenfus, who has become Managing Partner Emeritus and joined Morison International, a global association of professional service firms, as Chairman.
Prior to becoming Co-Managing Partner in 2012, Mr. Moehringer was Partner-in-Charge of Marks Paneth’s Real Estate practice. In recent years, Mr. Moehringer has overseen the development of a long-term strategic plan and led the firm with a renewed dedication to growth as an independent firm, achieving enhanced performance in the marketplace.
The election marks a new era for the firm, which has followed a co-managed leadership structure since 2000. “Harry’s election as the firm’s first sole managing partner is a testament to the trust and respect he has gained from his partners.
