NY State Agencies Extend Deadline to Submit CFR Forms

As usual, annual year-end New York State Consolidated Fiscal Reporting (CFR) forms must be submitted no later than five months after the end of the fiscal reporting period (approximately 150 days). Calendar-year filers (January 1-December 31) are required to submit their CFRs on or before June 1 of the new year.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, however, the following state agencies have extended the deadline to submit CFRs to August 1, 2020:

  • Office for People With Development Disabilities (OPWDD)
  • Office of Mental Health (OMH)
  • Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS)
  • State Education Department (SED)

Fiscal year filers (July 1-June 30) are required to submit their CFR on or before December 1 of the same year.
