New York, NY (June 28, 2018) – Leading accounting, tax and advisory firm, Marks Paneth LLP, has announced the addition of Magdalena M. Czerniawski, CPA, MBA, as a Tax Director in the firm’s Nonprofit, Government & Healthcare Group. Czerniawski joins an established team of professionals who provide customized audit, tax planning and consulting services to the firm’s nonprofit client base.
Prior to joining Marks Paneth, Czerniawski was a Senior Tax Manager in the nonprofit practice of a national accounting firm. She has extensive experience in advising charitable and social welfare organizations, professional associations, private foundations and healthcare entities on matters related to tax reform, contribution compliance, executive compensation, lobbying, public support test and Unrelated Business Taxable Income.
Czerniawski also specializes in matters related to ASC 740-10 (FIN 48) reporting requirements and represents her clients as an authorized representative before the Internal Revenue Service and various state agencies. She is based in Marks Paneth’s New York City headquarters.
