Eric Kreuter Honored with ACFE's 2019 Hubbard Award

New York, NY (July 18, 2019) – Eric Kreuter, PH.D., CPA, CFE, Partner at leading accounting, tax, and advisory firm Marks Paneth LLP, was awarded the 2019 Association of Certified Fraud Examiners’ (ACFE) Hubbard Award in recognition of his contributions to the field of fraud investigation. Dr. Kreuter received the honor for his article, “Staying cool in the deposition hot seat: How to handle an aggressive attorney’s questioning,” which appeared in the January/February 2018 issue of Fraud Magazine.

The Hubbard Award is presented annually to recognize the most significant contributions to Fraud Magazine, a publication of ACFE, as determined by the members of ACFE’s Editorial Advisory Committee. Dr. Kreuter’s award-winning article drew from his vast expertise providing litigation support services and expert witness testimony in state courts, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, arbitrations and depositions. In addition to his role as a partner in the firm’s Advisory Services group, Dr. Kreuter is a prolific writer, having authored seven books, several book chapters and articles on a wide range of topics, including forensic accounting, valuations, commercial damages and fraud prevention, detection and investigation.
