Alexander X. Wang, CPA, MST, brings over 25 years of experience to his role as Partner in the Tax Practice at Marks Paneth LLP. In this capacity, Mr. Wang provides a broad range of tax consulting, planning and compliance services to both publicly traded and privately held multinational corporations, as well as partnerships, limited liability companies, and high­-net-­worth individuals.

Mr. Wang started his tax consulting career at a Big Four Professional Services Firm in New York.  He also served as a senior tax specialist at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc.  Mr. Wang serves clients in a wide variety of industries including software, technology, commodity trading, real estate, insurance agency, private equity fund, law firm, manufacturer, e-commerce, and wholesale and distribution. He also provides tax due diligence services in connection with merger and acquisition, and US GAAP consulting services to both public and private companies in connection with ASC 740 Financial Accounting Reporting for Income Taxes.

Mr. Wang is highly experienced in serving both domestic and international clients. He advises foreign and domestic corporations with structuring their U.S. and offshore operations. He also assists U.S. individuals on the income tax implications associated with working and living abroad and advises foreign individuals on the income tax implications associated with working and living in the U.S. Mr. Wang has particular expertise in assisting U.S., U.K. and Chinese businesses and individuals looking to work, invest or do business in these countries.
