Palma A. Riggio, CPA, CGMA is a Director at Marks Paneth LLP. She brings nearly 20 years of accounting and auditing experience and 23 years of field examination experience to her position.

Ms. Riggio began her career at HSBC in 1993 and joined the firm in the year 2000. At HSBC, she supervised a group of approximately five examiners who performed field examinations on jewelry companies as well as other industries.

She plans and works on routine and initial funding examinations for numerous lending institutions in various industries, such as the apparel industry and the diamond and jewelry industry. She also trains and reviews the collateral examinations performed by the firm’s staff. In addition, Ms. Riggio assists lending institutions with fraud and forensic examinations on troubled accounts.

Ms. Riggio works with her clients’ personnel in preparing financial projections and financing models, which financial institutions utilize in their approval processes. Furthermore, she assists her clients in acquisitions, mergers and due diligence matters.
