Philip DeRosa, CPA, is a Partner in the Financial Services Practice at Marks Paneth LLP. To this role, he brings more than 20 years of experience advising clients in the alternative investments industry and financial services sector.

Mr. DeRosa specializes in providing accounting, audit and advisory services to a range of financial institutions, including private equity firms and hedge funds, as well as broker-dealers and investment advisors. He frequently assists his investment advisor clients with the design and implementation of their internal policies and procedures and in their claim of compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS), enabling them to have a competitive advantage within their industry. He has additional expertise in performing verifications and performance examinations for large investment managers.

Prior to joining Marks Paneth, Mr. DeRosa helped direct and grow the Financial Services practices of several large accounting firms, including the Big Four. He has authored numerous articles and has been a speaker at industry conferences. Mr. DeRosa is based in the firm’s New York City headquarters.
