Anthony Delfiner, CPA, MST, Partner-in-Charge of the Philadelphia office of Marks Paneth LLP, has over 25 years of diverse experience advising corporate and individual clients on complex tax issues.

Mr. Delfiner specializes in providing integrated tax planning, compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and their closely held businesses. He also has expertise in mergers & acquisitions, frequently playing an integral role in assisting clients with negotiations related to the buying and selling of businesses and advising on the tax implications of these transactions. He is experienced in estate, gift and inheritance tax matters, both at the federal and state levels.

Prior to joining Marks Paneth, Mr. Delfiner was a tax partner in the Philadelphia office of a global accounting firm. He has been published in the Philadelphia Business Journal and Corporate Compliance Insights on key topics such as “Negotiating the Deal with Taxes in Mind.” He is also a frequent speaker on professional panels and has been a guest on the radio talk show, “Financial Literacy: Tax Talk.”
