Marks Paneth Celebrates Opening of New Office Location

(PURCHASE, NY-- June 16, 2016) - Leading accounting, tax and advisory firm, Marks Paneth LLP, officially inaugurated its new Westchester County office on June 9 with an open house and ceremonial ribbon cutting led by Robert Astorino, Westchester County Executive. County Executive Astorino also proclaimed June 9 as Marks Paneth Recognition Day. Joining him in presiding were Anthony J. Tempesta, Partner-in-Charge of the Marks Paneth Westchester office; Mark Levenfus, Managing Partner Emeritus of the firm; Dr. Marsha Gordon, President and CEO of The Business Council of Westchester; and William M. Mooney, III, Director of Economic Development for Westchester County. The open house was attended by approximately 175 guests and employees of the firm.
Established in 1907, Marks Paneth opened its original Westchester County office in Tarrytown in July 2007. The firm is ranked by the Westchester County Business Journal as one of the leading professional services firms in Westchester. Its move to The Centre at Purchase at 4 Manhattanville Road in January doubled its office space to 20,000 square feet.
“We’re very proud that Marks Paneth is growing here, in Westchester County,” stated County Executive Astorino, prior to cutting the ceremonial ribbon. “The fact that the firm is going to employ over 100 people in this office is something we’re very grateful for, and I wanted to personally say thank you.”
