April 18, 2017

Leading accounting, tax and advisory firm, Marks Paneth LLP, has partnered with the European American Chamber of Commerce New York (“EACCNY”) to offer an insightful discussion around 2017 US tax reform and its impact on transatlantic business. The seminar, International Corporate Tax Update: Proposed Changes and How They May Affect Transatlantic Business Activities, will take place at Marks Paneth’s midtown Manhattan headquarters on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 8:00 AM ET.

Moderated by James Robbins, International Tax Principal with Marks Paneth, this seminar will cover proposed and recently enacted tax policy changes that will impact companies operating on both sides of the Atlantic. Guest panelists Joan C. Arnold, Partner with Pepper Hamilton LLP, and Michiel van Kempen, Tax Partner with Loyens & Loeff (USA) B.V., will deliver key insights to help attendees manage current and upcoming changes in tax policy.

“With the new administration, we can expect several tax policy proposals that could change the international tax landscape,” said Yvonne Bendinger-Rothschild, Executive Director with the EACCNY. “We are organizing this program to help US and European companies in our network better understand what to expect and how to prepare for possible changes.”
