Hassan Khan Joins Marks Paneth as Principal in Technology Services Group

New York, NY (August 11, 2020) – Leading accounting, tax and advisory firm, Marks Paneth LLP, has announced that Hassan R. Khan has joined the firm as a Principal in the Technology Services Group.

Mr. Khan works collaboratively with clients’ management, audit committees and boards, and provides independent, senior-level expertise that enables executives to drive value from technology and improve business performance. As a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), he provides key audit support to the firm’s attest practice.

Over the course of his almost two-decade career, Mr. Khan has led and delivered advisory engagements in technology governance, risk and compliance assessments; enterprise risk management (ERM); internal audits; technology effectiveness assessments; IT strategy and planning; business continuity/disaster recovery; system selections and implementation; cybersecurity risk analysis; and data analytics, among others. By leveraging his expertise, Marks Paneth’s Technology Services Group provides enhanced assistance to organizations in transforming their businesses to sustain long-term success.

Prior to joining Marks Paneth, Mr. Khan served as a Managing Director at an international accounting firm. He also served in an attest and risk role for a New York-based energy company and in the technology and risk advisory areas of two Big 4 accounting firms. Mr. Khan is based in Marks Paneth’s New York office.
