Marks Paneth Announces the Addition of Former IRS Management Official, Frances McKenna
March 20, 2017New York, NY (March 20, 2017) – Leading accounting, tax and advisory firm, Marks Paneth LLP, is pleased to announce that Frances McKenna has joined the firm as a Tax Director in the firm’s Nonprofit, Government and Healthcare Group. She has spent the last 26 years with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) – serving the agency and its Tax Exempt & Government Entities (TEGE) Division in a number of increasingly complex and high-level roles.

In her past role, Ms. McKenna made significant contributions to, and had oversight of, a number of high-profile national programs – including the Affordable Care Act (ACA); International, including Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR); Employment Tax, including Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA); the Restriction of Political Campaign Intervention (PCI); Federal/State Liaison, including Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and state gaming regulators; and the National Research Program (NRP).
