The New York City commercial real estate community’s lukewarm response to Mayor Bill de Blasio continues, according to the results of the spring 2014 Gotham Commercial Real Monitor, a survey of city commercial property executives. When asked about the potential impact of the mayor’s plan to increase affordable house in New York, executives were most likely to say it will weaken commercial property values (42%) in the city.
