The SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is an enormously popular loan option for small business borrowers. Whether your business has already received loan funding during the first round of government funding or you are preparing to submit a loan application, planning for the use of loan proceeds and forgiveness is essential.

The Treasury Department and the SBA continue to release PPP implementing guidance addressing a range of issues for borrowers and lenders. More guidance, especially in the area of forgiveness is anticipated.

Join Marks Paneth professionals Mark Baran and Jay Brower on April 28 as they address relevant aspects of recent guidance and the most pressing PPP challenges facing business owners. Topics include the following:

1 CPE credit will be offered.

  • Highlights of recent SBA guidance
  • Effectively managing payments during the 8-week test period
  • Loan forgiveness challenges
  • Coordinating and timing of payroll incentives
  • Maximizing PPP loan tax benefits
  • Revisiting borrower certifications
