Rana M. Gorzeck

Rana M. Gorzeck is a partner and senior attorney at Ward Damon, where she provides legal counsel to businesses and individuals throughout South Florida. Specializing in issues affecting the real estate industry, Ms. Gorzeck assists owners of real property in transactions that involve commercial real estate, high-end residential real estate, 1031 exchanges, secured lending, construction, title examination, leasing, contracts, industrial development bonds and M&A.


Heidi Henderson

Heidi Henderson, MSA is the Executive Vice President of Engineered Tax Services, an accounting firm headquartered in West Palm Beach offering specialty tax services and strategies for real estate owners. A real estate professional with more than 20 years of tax and accounting experience, Ms. Henderson advises clients in the areas of real estate finance, development, construction, tax efficiencies and optimization of federal, state and local tax incentives.


Michael Hurwitz

Michael Hurwitz, CPA, MST, is a Partner and REIT Group Leader at Marks Paneth LLP, a nationally ranked accounting firm headquartered in New York City with an office in Boca Raton. Mr. Hurwitz has more than 30 years of experience in the real estate sector, using his vast industry knowledge to help real estate companies with tax planning and compliance, public and private real estate investment trusts (REITs), opportunity funds, portfolio restructurings, acquisitions and partnership taxation issues.

Josh Kaplan

Josh Kaplan is a Partner at Bilzin Sumberg where he practices tax and corporate law.
